CONGRATULATIONS!

You've successfully managed to break the code on book 2 of the designers bible. Well done.  Frankly i'm amazed you've managed to get this far.  It's pretty obscure after all.  This also means that you've broken REDSHIRT - our proprietry security system.  If you look around your Uplink folder, you might find some other files also encrypted with REDSHIRT.

There are three books in total.  Each one has all of the design work and notes that went into the game.  Pages and pages of program code, game logic, ideas, concept art, diaries and more.  The complete "behind the scenes" works.

You've just unlocked Book2.  This book starts around November 1999 and covers about a year's worth of Uplink development.  Uplink hit some major problems during this time and went through a couple of major re-designs. (As you'd already know if you've read book 1 and seen the origional design for Uplink).

I hope you enjoy reading this stuff.  I hope it gives you some insight.  

Maybe you're wondering where book 3 is?  Well, it wouldn't be right for us to just give it too you.  You're going to have to work at it.  And this time, it's going to be a challenge.
